Real 2-Week Review of ㅅㅅㅇ Facial Contouring Cheekbone Surgery

<Before surgery><After surgery>Since entering my 30s, sagging skin + uneven cheekbones became more noticeable to me, so I got facial contouring cheekbone surgery. I felt like if I didn’t do it while I had time now, I’d never be able to do it again, so I decided to have surgery at ㅅㅅㅇ. The asymmetry between my right and left cheekbones... was so visible to my eyes ㅜㅜ So I really wanted to live from now on without it bothering my eyes as much. In the end, I went to ㅅㅅㅇ for my last consultation, and I think I liked it the most. Because it’s a major surgery, I had already researched everything online, including the hospital’s safety, surgical method and process, and other people’s before-and-afters. Externally, the actual cleanliness inside the hospital and the kindness of the staff were the most important parts for me. (* I’m somewhat timidly sensitive by nature) As a first impression, the cleanliness inside the hospital naturally swayed my mind, and because I think the kindness of the staff and the consultation manager extends to how kindly they will care for me after surgery, I actually made up my mind during the conversation on the day I went for the consultation. It’s only week 2, but the line has already changed a lot, so I’m very satisfied every time I look in the mirror. The swelling is still a little concentrated in the lower face, but... I’m really looking forward to what’s ahead haha. My friends were surprised too, saying my face got smaller. In other reviews, a lot of people said their throat hurt a lot because of general anesthesia, so I was really worried, but I truly had none of that at all.... My throat didn’t hurt, and I had absolutely no nausea after waking up from anesthesia! When I opened my eyes, I was just surprised because my arms and legs were tingling.. Still, it was a bit hard because of the painㅜ And about 5–10 minutes later, from when the painkiller infusion started, I only had a mild dull, throbbing kind of pain, and otherwise I was fine.... After finishing the IV and going home, I took medicine for the dull pain and just slept. For about 3–4 days, there is heat sensation and pain. The pain is a throbbing level (not like “it hurts!”; it’s tolerable if you take painkillers). Also, for me, pain around the chin tip and molar area lasted about 2 weeks, but when I had the intraoral stitches removed at week 2, the pain disappeared that same day. From the second day, I had yellow bruising under my eyes, but it disappeared right after 3 days. There’s no major discomfort! From immediately after surgery to days 3–4, the heat sensation and swelling were at max, and I was mentally having such a hard time worrying, “Why did I do this surgery, what if something went wrong?” But by day 5, I just returned to daily life and lived normally haha. The mild pain and discomfort gradually get better too, so now I’m just back to daily life without thinking much about it.
