I'm counting by full days. I counted the day after removal as the first day. (I had it removed on Monday. Today is Friday~*) Right after removal. I felt like I could fly. Without the implant and septal support strut, I felt completely relieved. The movement around my mouth became more natural. Especially when moving my upper lip, there was no fixed feeling at all. There was no swelling or bruising in areas other than the nose. Amazing. After surgery, the nasal tip had gone up and the columella looked short, but right after removal, the nasal tip immediately dropped. Anyway, right after removal, putting the nose shape aside for now, I felt relieved simply because I had removed it, so I think I slept comfortably. The day after removal (full day 1) When I woke up, my nose seemed more swollen. My nostrils had become really big, and because of the swelling, the nostrils looked pointy, so the asymmetry looked especially noticeable. The area where the support strut had been placed (between the nasal tip and columella) was especially enlarged and droopy. (When watching Golden Time, there's an ER orthopedic surgeon, you know. The one Lee Sun-kyun admires... Looking at him... that person's nasal tip was totally similar to my nasal tip at that time. It was so funny...ㅋ Anyway, it was droopy and swollen like there was a cherry tomato there.) But for now, the nostrils bothered me the most. The day after removal, I think the nose swelling was worse than right after removal. Because of that, the nostril shape also looked sharp... From this point, I started worrying a lot. But I did not regret the removal. I did not regret the removal, but I became very worried it might look worse than my original nose. And an anxiety I couldn't explain began. Still no swelling or bruising elsewhere. Full day 2. When I woke up, the swelling seemed to have gone down a little. The glabella was more sunken too, and the sharpness of the nostrils improved. I started to feel a little hope. The hope that once the swelling went down, the nostrils would return to normal made me feel a bit better. The area between the nasal tip and columella also became smaller than yesterday. The drooping also improved more. But I was still very worried and anxious. Full day 3. When I woke up, the swelling had gone down again. The glabella was more sunken (I have a long face, and my eyes and mouth are on the round side, so I think having no nasal bridge at the glabella actually suits me better) The nostrils became smaller, the asymmetry improved, and the shape that had been sharp and close to triangular changed into a curve... so it didn't look strange. What a relief. The sagging flesh between the nasal tip and columella rose more than the day before. But the incision line still wasn't visible. That's a relief, but,,, I don't think it should rise any further. The swelling between the nasal tip and columella has gotten smaller, but it's round. Anyway, by the third day... I felt better... The worries also started to decrease little by little. Full day 4. (Today) The nostril size got even smaller than yesterday. But the part that had become a bit curved seems like it might become triangular again... but it doesn't look strange and looks natural... The sagging flesh between the nasal tip and columella improved a lot more too. But if it rises more than this, I'm anxious it might become like the post-op shape when the columella looked shorter. But I don't think it will be pulled tight like back then. Because the nasal tip point has come down in a round shape... Anyway... it still looks a bit awkward, but I think a lot of my previous face is coming back. But... honestly, I have taping on, so I don't know well... Tomorrow is full day 5, so I was going to remove the taping at home... but I'm just going to try to hold out until the hospital does it on Monday. Just... somehow... I feel like keeping it pressed down will help the swelling go down better, prevent blood from pooling, and help hold the shape... Anyway... anxiety still coexists, but the worries are improving day by day. Leaving aside hope that the nose shape will turn out good,, I think I've just resigned myself to living, thinking it probably won't look extremely strange....;; Today is full day 4;; The swelling in my nose has gradually gone down... I think the glabella is almost down, and the nasal tip will go down more, right? But... I'm praying that the length doesn't get any shorter. When I wake up... the swelling in my nose goes down little by little, so the shape seems to change little by little too.ㅎ Everyone says they remove the tape on full day 5... Why am I removing it after a week? There must be a reason, right? Anyway... I still really love that when I move my upper lip and nasal tip, that hard septal thing isn't there anymore... When it was there, it was really irritating and difficult... Maybe because they set up a very small column for me... after about 10 days, I could do the um-pa-um-pa mouth movement and such... Even so... that foreign-body sensation was...;;; I wish Monday would come quickly so I can take off the tape and go wandering around. Oh, I tried to predict scar contraction. -For now, there is no upturning at all. -However, during the scar contraction period (I'm estimating between one and two weeks), because a support strut had been placed between the columella and the sagging flesh of the nasal tip, I think that area may heal, scar tissue may rise and enlarge, and it may pull. As that happens, I think the nostril shape may also become sharp. Overall it might lift a little, but I don't think it will be like after surgery, and anyway I think it will definitely feel like the columella has become shorter.... But after the scar contraction period passes, I think the columella will naturally droop, and as the incision area that was opened twice heals and gradually softens... it will improve. -However, I think personal effort has to be a prerequisite. Well, if I'm lucky, during the scar contraction period I might just feel hardness and slight contraction and pass through it naturally. In any case, the first mountain I have to get over is... I think it will be the shape of my nose after removing the tape on Monday. After that, I think it will be the nose shape during the scar contraction period. Anyway... then... I'll leave another review. The efforts I'm making now are: I'm taking zinc and vitamins C and E. I'm doing cold and warm compresses frequently, drinking 10 pumpkin juices a day, and juicing fruit to drink. Also, I'm eating high-protein, low-fat foods and lots of vegetables. I'm inhaling seaweed soup three meals a day. I absolutely don't eat flour-based foods, salty foods, or sweets. I drink a lot of water. I'm not doing full-scale exercise yet... I'll do it once it heals a bit. Oh,,,, I've now started warm compresses in earnest. And when I sleep, I'm thinking of wearing a mask because I'm worried it might get dry. Is this an okay method? I'm asking for advice~
