Nose Re-Surgery

Removal of Nasal Silicone and Septal Cartilage (Photo)

It has been about 6 months since I had rhinoplasty with 2 mm silicone on the nasal bridge and septal cartilage for the nasal tip. My face is on the long side, but the silicone goes all the way up to the glabella, and the nasal tip has become pinched, making both my face and nose look even longer. So I went to the hospital where I had the surgery to have the silicone and septal cartilage removed, and they said they would only remove the silicone. For free. Even though it’s 2 mm silicone, if they remove only the silicone from the nasal dorsum and leave the septal cartilage in the nasal tip as is, the proportion between the nasal dorsum and nasal tip won’t match, and only the nasal tip will look pointed. But they said that removing the septal cartilage too and doing cartilage repositioning would make the surgery bigger, and that it would have to be done open, so they suggested removing only the silicone through a closed approach. The consultant openly said that since it would be done for free in the case of revision surgery, the doctors don’t like doing it. Could it really be that there’s no benefit for them, and if the surgery becomes bigger, it’s bothersome, so they just want to do the simple silicone removal? If the silicone is 2 mm, would removing only the silicone while leaving the septal cartilage in the nasal tip really not make only the nasal tip stand out or make the boundary look unnatural? I’m so worried I’ll end up having a third surgery.. Please, I’d really appreciate an answer~
