It has been 10 days since surgery. I had a slight hump, so only that area was shaved slightly, and I had a 2 mm silicone implant on the nasal bridge / septal cartilage + ear cartilage for the nasal tip. The procedure name was hump nose + short nose + nasal bridge + nasal tip. My original nose was short and upturned. Before surgery, friends around me told me not to do it, but because of my personal desire, I went ahead with the surgery without looking into postoperative side effects or management, and I regret it so deeply. Many people have said that it has only been 10 days since surgery, so I should wait and watch the progress, but I am definitely planning to remove it. Definitely!!.. I do not have the confidence to live my whole life with an implant, and I really want to live comfortably like before. I resent myself for not properly looking into it ㅜㅜ.. But some people say to remove it within 3 weeks after surgery, and others say to remove it after 6 months, so I am wondering which timing would let me return as close as possible to my original nose. When should I do it ㅜㅜ ? If I remove it within 3 weeks, would it put a lot of strain on my nose? I had open surgery, and the open incision site has almost healed. The dissolvable sutures are all gone, and there is a scab sitting on top of the opened area. I am also worried that after complete removal, the nasal tip might become completely upturned. I want to go as much as possible toward complete removal ㅠㅠ Thank you for reading my post.. I will wait for comments.. I am desperate.
