I wrote a post yesterday too. Since yesterday, the area between my nasal tip and columella started getting hard.. at first I wasn't sure... Today is day 6.. It's definitely gotten hard. At least... compared to day 4, the sagging columella hasn't gone up any further.. so it doesn't feel lifted or anything, But definitely.. it has started feeling about halfway between a surgically operated nose and my original nose.. So,, Like what other people feel.. For a few days right after removal, you definitely feel like there is nothing in your nose.. and the nose also feels rounded and soft.. But... as contraction sets in, the nasal tip and columella area get hard and feel pulled... definitely.. I think I'm a case where wound contraction came a bit quickly.. Since it started from full day 5... As I wrote in my previous post.. I said my nose would probably become like this when wound contraction happened.. And it really is like that... Between the columella and nasal tip... the part where the septal cartilage had been placed seems to be hardening as the tissue heals... that area pulls tight.. Right now it feels exactly like the septal support strut has been set up again.. haha One difference is that when I touch above my upper lip, during surgery it definitely felt like something was implanted there.. but now there is nothing implanted there.. But... the sensation is definitely similar to how it felt during surgery. The shape too.. although the nasal tip is not as lifted as it was then.. Anyway.. it is higher than my previous nose.. and the columella has shortened too.. Haha The nostril shape is becoming triangular again too. Probably because~ it has gotten hard and pulled tight.. There is tension in the nostrils too..;; But.. I'd rather it be this shortened now. In the end, once the wound contraction softens and loosens... it will come down to some extent.... if it were exactly the same as my old nose... I would instead have to worry about it drooping more..ㅠㅠ Still, I'm scared.. that it might get even shorter.. Anyway... since I paid some attention to nose care.. I normally recover faster than others too.. And wound contraction came quickly as well.. Tomorrow, after removing the taping and taking out the stitches.. I'll exercise too... take half-body baths too.. and start more active care.. People who have had removal or are scheduled to have it.. Wound contraction happens to everyone. There was a wound.. and as it heals.. it would be strange if there were no contraction.... if you endure this period well... and take good care of it.. it will definitely soften again.. and come down.. Don't worry.~~ After I take off the taping tomorrow, I'll report the progress again~~!!
