They used 3 mm silicone, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage. The surgery took 6 hours to finish, and even during the procedure it hurt so much. After I woke up from sedation and they were using local anesthesia, I can’t even describe how painful it was. They said the tissues from my first surgery were extremely stuck together, so they were having a hard time. The sounds of scraping hard and trimming, ah... It was so horribly painful that I don’t even want to think about it. I don’t think I will ever, ever have nose surgery again. Yesterday was the day after surgery, so I went in for disinfection. The nose disinfection was bearable, but they said a lot of blood had pooled in my left ear where they harvested the cartilage, so they squeezed the blood out. I think they cut it open more with a scalpel and drained all the pooled blood. I think the disinfection took 30 minutes while I was stamping my feet in pain. Ah...
