I was satisfied after my first double eyelid surgery and was doing fine, but after a few years, the line started to come undone and turned into multiple double eyelid folds, so my eyes actually looked more heavy and stuffy than before surgeryㅠㅠ lol But I was worried that touching them again might make things worse, so I couldn’t decide hastily. After being extremely stressed for a while, I felt like I couldn’t live like this, so I looked up reviews from people with eyes similar to mine and searched for revision surgery clinics haha.. One of the places I saw often for revision surgery was a plastic surgery clinic, and since there were many reviews of natural adhesion even for revision cases, I became interested. As I kept looking through reviews, the eyelid lines were exactly my taste, so I ended up booking a consultation! At the consultation, the doctor said my eyes could also be revised with natural adhesion, and since I figured I should do it properly while I was at it, I decided to do medial epicanthoplasty together too. I liked the design, the surgical method, and everything overall, so I didn’t spend too long agonizing over the decision. There was some swelling and bruising, but compared with other people, it was honestly pretty mild lol Especially, I was surprised there was no blood pooling!! Now the swelling has mostly gone down, and I really like the line. I think the medial epicanthoplasty was the perfect move. Since the horizontal length of my eyes became longer, my eyes look much more open and refreshedㅠㅠ When I first got double eyelid surgery, even middle and high school students were getting it, so I took it lightly and decided without much thought. But I realized that touching any part of your face, whether it’s your eyes or anywhere else, is something you need to be careful about.. Everyone, don’t take double eyelid surgery lightly just because it seems common. Please research thoroughly before getting revision surgery!!!!!
