This is my one-month review after receiving under-eye fat repositioning and fat grafting surgery from Director Jang Uk at a plastic surgery clinic! While looking through reviews to decide which hospital to have surgery at, I only had a consultation at that clinic, booked a date the same day, and went ahead with it. First of all, my dark circles were very severe, so I was always told that I looked tired, and I had been thinking about under-eye fat repositioning surgery for a long time. During the consultation, I was told that structural changes were possible, but that the discoloration itself would be difficult to treat completely. However, they said the hollow-looking area would improve and it would be easier to cover with makeup, so I decided to have the surgery! Even without makeup, the hollow-looking area has definitely improved a lot, and applying makeup has also become easier. For a few days after surgery, there was a lot of swelling and I had to keep tape on, so it was uncomfortable, but after about a week, most of the swelling had gone down and the bruising was barely visible. I was very worried about pain, but although there was some bleeding and swelling around the eyes, it was not very painful. However, I had fat grafting done together, and I was a bit surprised because there was a lot of large bruising on my thigh. Now, at one month post-op, I do not have any major discomfort, the different sensation under my eyes has all disappeared, and it feels like my original face. I was very worried because it was my first surgery, but I am very, very satisfied!
