It’s been one month since my nose surgery. The bridge is too high and the tip is too pointed. From the front, the tip is at least okay, but from the side, there’s nothing but Pinocchio. Bridge osteotomy, nasal lengthening with the septum, tip support, ear cartilage Gore 3.5. It really was a major surgery. When I first went to consultation at different hospitals, many places told me to just do osteotomy of the nasal bones, but I really wanted the tip done because I didn’t like how rounded and upturned it looked. A lot of people said my skin was thin and the implant would show through, so I figured that was probably true, but the director at the hospital where I had surgery said that since my skin is thin, if they used Gore it would hardly show at all. Hmm.. Anyway, they emphasized a natural look, but my bridge is completely higher, and the starting point is set high too, and the tip is pointed ㅠㅠ I waited a month thinking it was just swelling. When I consulted the hospital, they said if I wasn’t satisfied there was nothing they could do, so we decided on revision surgery. They decided to remove the Gore from the bridge, but if they take it out, they said it may become uneven. For the tip, they said to remove the cartilage and do it with AlloDerm. I’m scared of AlloDerm side effects too. Actually, for the bridge I don’t know, but for the tip I’m worried that if they handle it wrong, it could look even stranger, so I’m wondering if I should just leave it. They set the tip according to the bridge height, so if the implant is removed I’m worried there will be a gap and it will look even worse ㅠㅠ I’m getting married soon, so if not now, I won’t have time to do anything to it. I really hope it goes well, sigh ㅜㅜ If it’s possible to lower the starting point and shape the bridge without removing the implant, I’d like to do that. Is that possible? If not, then I guess it has to be removed ㅠㅠ The hospital director said even if I remove it now, later I’ll probably have to put something in again, even if it’s just a thin one. Can’t it just be replaced with something lower right now? Has anyone tried this? My nose is almost completely free of swelling now, so this isn’t swelling anymore. The hospital also said the swelling had almost all gone down. If they remove the implant and put it back in again, will there be contracture or scar tissue? I’m worried sick
