Real Review of the Two Days of Hell After Cheekbone Surgery

I had a consultation 6 years ago and even paid the deposit, but I was too scared to get the surgery. Now, in my late 30s, I finally had it done. Because of work, I ended up doing something where I appear on camera, and I really couldn’t stand seeing my wide, flat face on camera ㅜㅜㅜ If it hadn’t been necessary for my job, I think I would have just lived like this forever.. At my age, deciding to go through with cheekbone surgery really took a huge amount of courage! On the first day of surgery, right up until the moment I was being anesthetized, I kept wondering if this was really the right thing, and I was so scared that all I wanted to do was run away. But when I woke up, the surgery was already over. I feel like I truly went through two days of hell. Sedation anesthesia was really so hard. They kept telling me to keep taking deep breaths, but I felt like I couldn’t breathe properly, and I kept feeling sleepy but they told me not to sleep. They said I could only drink water after 4 hours, and it was honestly so, so hard. After staying at the hospital for about 3 hours like that, I finally came home and took my first sip of water, and it felt like I could live again. Then I lay down and dozed off half-conscious for a bit, but I woke up because my stomach felt so uncomfortable. I felt nauseous and threw everything up. Because the anesthesia hadn’t fully worn off, when I tried to urinate in the bathroom, I couldn’t put any strength into it, so I couldn’t even go to the bathroom until the second day. It was truly hell ㅜㅜㅜ I honestly felt like I had gone through two days of hell, to the point where I wondered if I was the only one suffering this much. After two days, I went back to the clinic, had the bandage removed, and got my hair shampooed, and it felt like I could finally live again. I’m on day 4 now, and the right side of my face feels numb and has no sensation. My whole face still aches, and it’s hard to open my mouth, so I’m only eating porridge with a syringe. The swelling is seriously at its peak. Other people don’t seem to swell this much, but I really swelled up like a toad. Even one cheekbone procedure is this hard, so people who do all 3 facial contouring procedures are seriously amazing ㅜㅜㅜㅜ
