I didn’t originally write this to post; it was just notes I organized for myself, so the writing may be all over the place ㅠㅠ Since each person gets a different quote, please keep in mind that the consultation details may differ! This is long, so I also put a brief summary at the end. I hope everyone finds a clinic that suits them well! I have a small nose with no bridge near the glabella, some bridge on the nasal dorsum, a droopy tip, and a slightly upturned nose. The nasal bridge bone and septum are asymmetric, and my skin does not stretch much. The places I visited for consultations were ㅈㅇㅇ, ㅁㅇ, ㄷㅁ, and ㅅㅍ, and I ultimately booked one of them! ㅈㅇㅇ Consultation review: They looked at the CT and something like Inofit modeling? together with me. (They said the CT fee would be charged later if I had surgery there, but it seems like they do not charge it separately.) While showing the Inofit modeling, they modeled the nose height in 3D with me. Looking at the CT, they also checked the approximate size of the septum and the degree of deviation. They also inserted a camera into the nostril and viewed it while recording. They kindly explained all the basic knowledge related to rhinoplasty one by one. Very detailed explanation. I recommend going here for the very first consultation. They do not really recommend making it very high. No pressure to book. Quote: (hump, lengthening, costal/ear cartilage, functional nose surgery) Cosmetic rhinoplasty (septal cartilage and ear cartilage included here) - 1.8 million KRW, functional nose surgery - 1.8 million KRW, and they said functional nose surgery can be processed through insurance. Things that need to be added separately are donated costal cartilage 900,000 KRW (donated costal cartilage can be covered by insurance), autologous costal cartilage 2 million KRW, customized implant 1.1 million KRW (can be discounted to 900,000 KRW with a partial model). They said donated costal cartilage may or may not be used if the septum is insufficient after checking it. But on CT, my septum looked small, so they recommended ear cartilage or costal cartilage. Other: They said hospital visits after surgery are on days 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7-9. Depending on the treatment done that day, a treatment fee of around 5,000-6,000 KRW may occur. If using autologous costal cartilage, the autologous costal cartilage stitches are removed on day 14. I waited about an hour. ㅁㅇ (Director ㅎㅈ) Consultation review: Maybe the consultation reservation was made incorrectly; they said there was no reservation, but fortunately I was able to have the consultation. But the way the desk staff handled it was disappointing, so my first impression was not great. With the director, I had a structural? consultation about my nose characteristics and so on, and with the consultant, I discussed the shape. They did not take a separate CT, but they immediately identified my nose characteristics and suggested slightly osteotomizing the asymmetric alar area to match it. They told me the same things that ㅈㅇㅇ had said after looking at the CT. The director was not especially kind (rather than being unfriendly, they just did not feel as warm compared with other clinics) and only said exactly what was necessary. With the consultant, I discussed the nose shape. I showed photos, and the consultant also did not recommend raising it excessively. They only recommended what was necessary. No pressure to book. Quote: nasal bridge osteotomy (asymmetry), septal cartilage + ear cartilage, upturned nose, hump This clinic does not take insurance. Cash price 3.2 million KRW, card price 3.52 million KRW They did not mention customized silicone or costal cartilage at all. Other: Visits after surgery on days 1, 2, 4, and 7. I went right when they opened, so there was not much waiting. ㄷㅁ Consultation review: Consultation was in the order consultant-director-consultant. During the first consultation with the consultant, we mainly looked at the shape. The director consultation was more professional, like at the other clinics. Among the places I went to, this one told me the most about limitations. They said my nose is small and does not stretch, so if costal cartilage is used, the nose would have difficulty supporting it, so they did not recommend costal cartilage. They said osteotomy is not possible because it would make the nasal bridge thinner, but they did not separately address the asymmetric alar area. The nasal bridge bone is asymmetric, but there was no mention of that. The director consultation was kind. Kind but firm? After the director consultation, I lastly discussed the price with the consultant. It was not pressure to book, but they did ask me to let them know my decision quickly. Quote: septal cartilage + ear cartilage, upturned nose, hump No insurance (they said if functional nose surgery is needed, it can be done in the 200,000-300,000 KRW range, but if it is not severe, there is no need to do it) Cash price 3.2 million KRW, card price 3.52 million KRW Other: Number of hospital visits is the same as the clinic above. There was not much waiting time. ㅅㅍ (Director ㄱㅈㅇ) Consultation review: Consultation was in the order consultant-director-consultant. In the first consultant consultation, we discussed my desired shape and the parts I wanted corrected. I had a CT for the director consultation (no CT fee). The director consultation repeated similar content to the above. Here, they recommended donated costal cartilage. They said ear cartilage is soft and has a possibility of drooping, so after opening the septum, if more material is needed, they would use donated costal cartilage. They did not recommend ear cartilage. When I asked about the asymmetric alar area, they said it is not asymmetry of the alar base itself, but that my face is overall asymmetric, so it looks asymmetric, and that it would be difficult to improve this part. This was the same as ㄷㅁ. The three clinics above all recommended about 3 mm of silicone, but here they recommended 4.5 mm, so I think I need to ask about this again in detail at the time of surgery. They said functional nose surgery is possible. They were kind and gave a good consultation. There was a little pressure to book (like, if you do not do it now, this time slot may not be available~~ that level). Quote: (septal cartilage + donated costal cartilage), upturned nose, hump Can do cosmetic only or cosmetic + functional. For cosmetic surgery, base price 3 million KRW, and if donated costal cartilage is added +800,000 KRW For cosmetic + functional surgery, functional part 2.4 million KRW (if donated costal cartilage is added +500,000 KRW) Cosmetic 2.3 million KRW Here, the functional part can be covered by insurance. Cash/card same price. Other: Number of hospital visits is similar to the clinics above, and they said shampooing and swelling laser are included as services. There is some waiting. One-line summary ㅈㅇㅇ: Seems to prefer a pretty nose over the proportions of my face. If your original nose conditions are okay and you want to raise it in a more dramatic way, try a consultation here. It does feel a bit excessive / They consult using CT and 3D modeling, so I recommend it as a first consultation / Price is a little high. ㅁㅇ: Seems to prefer a method that adds a little technique within my facial proportions? About natural 8 and dramatic 2 / They do not take a separate CT, but as soon as they see you, they identify things almost at CT level / Price is average for Seomyeon. ㄷㅁ: Seems to pursue a completely natural look. If other clinics feel like, “We can do it like this~,” here it feels like, “This cannot be done.” / Price is average for Seomyeon. ㅅㅍ: Seems to pursue a natural look with some degree of dramatic effect. About natural 5.5 and dramatic 4.5. First clinic that did not recommend ear cartilage / Cheapest among the four (though still around average price)0 If you have anything else you’re curious about, leave a comment! I’ll answer as much as I can if it helps.
뉸아 I also went to three of these places! Where did you decide on? I’m still debating ㅜ
뭉뭉찌잉 I’m also going around for consultations now, and ㅈㅇㅇ really did seem closer to dramatic than naturally dramatic ㅠ ㅁㅇ seems too natural again,,. Where did you decide on?
냥냥냥컁 I went for consultations at ㄷㅁ and ㅁㅇ, and I think this is really completely accurate. You summarized only the key points, so it was so helpful !!!! I want to go for a consultation at ㅈㅇㅇ; do they not charge any consultation fee or CT fee at all?? And were you originally planning to do functional nose surgery?? I went for a consultation at ㅍㅅㅈ and was going to do it there, but after reading your post, I’m thinking of going to other places for consultations too ㅠ.. Could I ask where you ultimately decided on and for info? I’m so desperate ㅠ
냥냥냥컁 [@sniii] Thank you so much .. ! I’m leaving a comment as soon as I got upgraded !!! At ㄷㅁ and ㅁㅇ, even without taking a CT, did the doctors know during the consultation whether the septum was deviated or something?? Then are you after having surgery at ㅅㅍ with cosmetic rhinoplasty only??
chzu Could I ask where you got it done?!

채시현 I’m curious where you chose!! I’m also thinking about Director ㄱㅈㅇ at ㅅㅍ

Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-reviewApr 30 Is rhinoplasty difficult if I want to keep my dorsal hump?
I want to correct my bulbous nose, so I went to consultations at a few places. They all said that if they put cartilage in the nasal tip and raise the tip, they would have to shave down the dorsal hump on the nasal bridge and place silicone
Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-reviewApr 29 Posting a male nose surgery review ~
I’m a man, and my nose used to have a slight hump, but it wasn’t high and was small, so it didn’t have a masculine feel, and it didn’t really look handsome either. This time, I had surgery with Director Kim Ji-hoon at Ppeulli Plastic Surger
