I had my hump shaved down and had 3.5 mm silicone plus a septal cartilage strut. It’s been 4 months since surgery, but the tight and pulling sensation is so severe, and because of the pressure and psychological anxiety, I finally decided to have it removed. At today’s consultation, we agreed to remove the implant and lower the septal cartilage and strut, but now I’m thinking, maybe I should have said to take everything out.. When I was writing the agreement, I wondered, am I doing the right thing.. But I think it’s better than being stressed.. Has anyone removed only the silicone and lowered the nasal tip cartilage and strut? How is it? I really want to remove everything, but somehow I’m scaredㅠㅠ My original nasal tip was slightly droopy, so I’m worried it might collapseㅠㅠㅠ Anyway, I also felt a lot today that the consultation wasn’t sufficient.. I’m thinking maybe I should go with my parents on the day of removal surgery so they might remove it more comfortably for me...
