It’s been 2 weeks since I had bulbous nose surgery, but my nasal tip is too blunt, and there’s no boundary between the tip and the alar wings. It just looks like one lump.. For some reason, the alar wings look big tooㅠ Today I went to the hospital where I had surgery and to 2 other hospitals. Hospital where I had surgery - They said it’s originally like this because of swelling, and I got a scar-tissue injection before leaving. Revision-specialized hospital 1 - As soon as the consultant saw me, she said my nose seemed to have been made too big.. When I said I had even gotten a scar-tissue injection, she kept sighing deeply. The director also said my nose had become too big and blunt, and told me to remove all the silicone and ear cartilage. He said he would gather the ear cartilage to create a sharper feeling. I said the alar wings were what bothered me, but he said not to touch the alar wings.. Here, they said after 3 weeks the tissue becomes hard, so I need surgery urgently. Revision hospital 2 - Here, both the consultant and the director said it’s originally like this at week 2, and if I were their patient, they would have just sent me home.. They said the previous hospital would probably have tied the cartilage more if it could be tied more. If I really wanted to do something, they said they would lower the glabella a bit and add more ear cartilage to make it more prominent. But they said there wouldn’t be a big change in the nasal tip.. When I told them what I heard at hospital 1, they laughed heartily and said they know that doctor, but they don’t think that method is right. The two doctors are saying completely opposite things, so I can’t choose. (The nasal tip was operated on too blunt and too big, and the ear cartilage should be removed even now vs. the nasal tip is originally like this, and if I really want to do something, I should add more ear cartilage grafting.) They say if 3 weeks pass, it won’t work, so if I’m going to have surgery, I need to do it within this week. I have to choose within a day or two, and I really feel like my head is going to explode... Those who know noses well, please help me.. From week 2 onward, does it become much sharper and smaller? Right now, everyone who sees me asks why my nose got so big. It was bulbous nose surgery;; The nasal tip is blunt and there’s no boundary with the alar wings, so the alar wings also look extremely wide. Does the nasal tip really become pointed over time?? Would it be better to remove it or have revision surgery before 3 weeks pass?
