I had a severely crooked nose, and there is a support strut inside my right nostril. They said they put it in to correct the crooked nose.
They said that once it settled into place, they would remove it, and that it would be simple.
I kept postponing it and postponing it, then went to the clinic about 2 years later saying I wanted to have it removed, but they said it could not be removed.
They said my nose would collapse if they removed it.
So I said that the director definitely told me it could be removed simply under sedation, and that at the clinic back then they said I would only need to pay 300,000 won for the sedation fee.
But they said that never happened. And my crooked nose was corrected at first, but then it became crooked again.
They said it was originally severely deviated, so they could not correct it 100%, and that this was the best possible result.
They said there was no need for revision surgery.
It has been 5 years since the surgery, but my nose is gradually becoming more crooked, and people keep telling me my nose is crooked, so I’m stressed.
I had a consultation at another clinic.
They said the nasal support strut can be removed, the crooked nose can be corrected, and the silicone can be removed and reinserted.
But the cost is too expensive, so I haven’t been able to do it. Even after negotiating it down in cash, it was 5.5 million won
Tomorrow I’m going back to the clinic where I had the surgery for another consultation, but I think they’ll say the same thing they said when I consulted them 3 years ago and won’t do the surgery
Then for now, I at least want to remove the silicone and the support strut. Has anyone had a support strut removed?
Will the nose really collapse if the support strut is removed?
And even when I look at people around me who have had nose surgery, I feel like I’m the only one with something like this inside my nose
