Silicone 3 mm + ear cartilage at the nasal tip + a support strut? ear cartilage in the columella + cartilage tying It’s been almost 3 months since I had it done this way. Because of anxiety about inflammation and because my nasal bridge feels pressed down, so the area between my brows sometimes hurts, I decided on removal.
For a month, I really came into this community several times a day and thought about it so much. Whether to remove only the silicone, or remove everything...
The doctor recommended removing only the silicone and said it could be done with a closed approach. But he said that if I want everything removed, it has to be done with an open approach.. When I looked at other people’s reviews, complete removal seemed possible with a closed approach, but he said it absolutely has to be open... When I said that there are people who had it done closed, the doctor laughed..
For now, I booked removal of only the silicone with a closed approach, but there is also the issue of the ear cartilage showing through, and I started feeling like I want to remove everything completely and live comfortably. If I’m going to remove the ear cartilage later anyway, I think it would be better to remove it sooner....
I have a lot of questions, so I’m asking. 1. Among those who had removal, if you had everything removed with an open approach, did you swell as much as during rhinoplasty? How many days did the major swelling last? 2. Is open removal also possible with only local anesthesia? 3. With complete removal, does the nose become upturned or anything? 4. If the cartilage tying is undone, does it become a pinched nose that is somewhere between before and after surgery?
Please don’t just look and pass by; please answerㅠㅠ
