Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Day 5 after removal (I had the tape taken off!!)

It’s day 5 after removal. I had septal cartilage, ear cartilage, osteotomy, and silicone. I had them removed about two months and one week after the surgery. (My first removal review is in the post below, so please refer to it^^) Since it was wrapped tightly with bandages, honestly I didn’t know how it would look. After my first surgery, I swelled up a lot and bruised really badly, and the bruises didn’t go away for a month, but this time there isn’t much swelling and I didn’t bruise at all. The moment the bandage came off, oh my god.. lol I’m back to my old impression. Infinite thanks..... Is it upturned? I originally had an upturned nose, but it’s slightly lower than my original nose.. haha I like this... The area where the silicone was is still soft, but it dropped way down.. But it doesn’t look strange!! Not at all.. My nose before was really short, low, and upturned, you know? Maybe because I had osteotomy;;; lol There’s still swelling, so I’ll only know after the swelling goes down. I just wish it would settle exactly in this shape... lolol (I guess that’s being greedy;;) The nasal tip is completely soft too.. Well, this will gradually get hard, but I’m not scared. The hardness will loosen over time!! The doctor checked it, and said that for now it’s because of swelling, but after a while it will return to my old nose. haha I asked if it would get shorter, and they said no, it will get short like my old nose, but it won’t get shorter than that. They removed the stitches on the columella area and put tape on it. The internal stitches are still there, and I’ll go on Saturday to have those removed. The removal surgery hurt more than the first surgery, but it doesn’t hurt now. I just wish I could scrub-wash my face properly; lol I’m glad the burden of having an implant is gone!! Since there isn’t much swelling, I’ve just been doing ice packs? about that much. I’m drinking a little pumpkin juice, and since vitamins? there are lots in fruit too, I’m eating a lot of fruit, and I’m taking one water-dissolved vitamin tablet a day. They said there wouldn’t be contracture, so I’m not taking medicine like that. I’m going to do cold compresses until today, and from tomorrow cold compresses + warm compresses. It hasn’t hardened yet, but when will it start getting hard.... I am a little worried; lol I wish it would just not get hard like this... but it will get hard as the wound contracts, right? I’m going to go on Saturday and ask a lot of questions about this and that. Those who have had removal!!! Please share how you managed care after removal!! And what your condition was like too!! haha
