I had a consultation with Director Choi Won-cheol. This is the first clinic I went to, and to share information and so I do not forget, I will record what I remember!! First of all, I have a natural nose and have never had any procedure on itㅇㅇ.. My complex is that my nose is low and round, and because my nose is low, my protruding mouth looked especially severe. They say short, low noses look obvious even if you raise them just a little, but if I just live with it, my obsession with my side profile makes me not even want to take photos, and friends around me are also starting to show up one by one after nose surgery, so I have been looking around and going to consultations~ Since this was my first nose consultation, I was already nervous, and because it was the first consultation, I do think I came back a bit flustered, but the consultant was kind and the director explained things calmly, so that was good. I brought a photo of a straight nose with a slight curve, and the consultant said I need nasolabial angle correction and short-nose correction. (They took photos with an iPad and explained while drawing over them.) They said it is possible with basic nasal materials, but donated costal cartilage might be added. If the septal cartilage condition is very poor, they said there is even a possibility of up to 2 pieces! After hearing from the consultant, the director came in. The director said I do not need alar reduction, and that I should do nasolabial angle correction and bulbous nose correction. I also asked about functional rhinoplasty, but since the recurrence rate is relatively high, it seemed like he did not really recommend it. He suggested using silicone and septal cartilage, and for bulbous nose and nasolabial angle correction, also, how should I put it, my nasal tip defining point is a bit deviated, not exactly in the center, so correcting that too!! I am still thinking about whether to do functional rhinoplasty~ After the consultation, I liked that the consultant sent me a summary of the consultation details by KakaoTalk. I am thinking of surgery under 5 million won, and the price came out quite affordable, so I was like oh! Next is a consultation at the clinic where my friend had surgery (JT), and if the estimate there also comes out within my budget, I think I will be even more torn.. hahahaha
