Hello, ever since I was young, I was under a lot of stress about my appearance because of my protruding lower jaw. Some friends even teased me by saying things like “jaw monster” or “your chin sticks out,” and because of that, I was deeply hurt. So even though I knew it was a scary and risky surgery, I had decided long ago that once I became an adult and earned money, I absolutely had to do it. Then, when I turned 23, I finally gathered my courage and decided to have double-jaw surgery. When I first decided to have surgery 5 years ago, I learned about EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery through YouTube, and that was where I first met Director Shin Hee-jin. After that, seeing people who had surgery with Director Shin through real surgery reviews gave me trust, and because their changed appearance after surgery resembled the image I had dreamed of, I became even more convinced. Even now, 5 years later, that trust has not changed, so I chose EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery without hesitation. In the early stage after double-jaw surgery, I struggled a little because of swelling, but as the swelling gradually went down, I came to like my facial shape, and aside from the braces, I lived without any particular discomfort! When I look at my preoperative photos, the change is so clear that I really think I did well to have the surgery. Already from the 1-month mark, people around me told me so much that I was pretty, so I felt proud!! haha And as time passed and my facial shape became even prettier and more refined, my own satisfaction became very high too. Not only acquaintances I saw after a long time, but also people around me regularly tell me I’ve become prettier, and I gained confidence in my side profile, which used to be a complex, so I no longer worry about people’s gazes. Now I feel like it will really be complete once I just get my braces off!! And now that 8 months have passed!! I’m gradually gaining confidence in my face, and the side profile that used to be my complex now seems to be one of the parts I feel confident about haha! I just hope orthodontic treatment finishes quickly, and I’m satisfied with everything else. This is my 8-month review of double-jaw surgery at EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery!! haha
