I had surgery with Director Kim Hyun-joo at RU Plastic Surgery! At 1 month, it felt like the major swelling went down quickly, but after that, for me, the minor swelling seems to be going down slowlyㅠㅠ From around week 6, the swelling seemed different day by day. Some days it looked more swollen, and some days it looked more reduced! On days when it looked more swollen, I got startled and contacted the consultant, and they said it was part of the process of scar tissue softening. For cosmetic surgery, time really is the medicine, and depending on age/body constitution, the speed at which swelling goes down really seems to differ a lot! Since time seems to be the medicine, I’m now waiting with peace of mind. The columellar scar from the rhinoplasty has also faded a lot. Friends I haven’t seen in a while tell me my nose looks naturally refined, so since I told the director I didn’t want anything excessive, I’m still satisfied so far!
