Removal after 10 years: hump nose, silicone, ear cartilage
Today I finally took off the splint. I feel so relieved. My nasal bridge felt so stuffy and uncomfortable. It was itchy too, ugh
Looking at my nose, there is a lot of bruising, so it’s yellow and a little purple too, and the nasal tip is a bit yellow and also looks somewhat black, but blackheads are playing a part too. What should I do with this thing lol
There is still swelling left, so the nose is still high After removing the ear cartilage from the nasal tip, I can see it became a little lower hehe, since the length of the nostrils decreased.
The area where the silicone went in and came out is especially swollen, particularly the middle between the eyes, and it would honestly be great if this swelling never went down and I lived like this lol
But it will gradually go down, I’m sure hehe
As of today, nothing unusual has happened and my nose is perfectly fine. No side effects either.
Since I removed it after ten years, it’s not like I had no worries at all, but I’m happy it went well hehe
They say if it’s not inflammation, there usually isn’t much like contracture, so stay strong, and those who are going to remove it can go ahead and do it, I think!
