Day 10 after removing only the septal support graft

I think I had septal extension using a septal support graft for just the nasal tip, on a slightly short and low nose. I had it removed after 5 months because of the foreign-body sensation and my own psychological reasons. Before removal, the clinic kept trying to stop me, but even wearing a mask or just brushing against it made my nose so red and tingly that it was too hard on me, so I had it removed. The clinic said it would lift up and that I would regret it, but it was just too hard... On the first day, they didn’t put on a splint or cotton, only taping, but the next day there was a lot of bleeding, so they blocked it with cotton and put on a splint too. I kept the splint on for a long time, until day 9... When I removed the splint and stitches on day 9, it did look like my old appearance. But honestly, I think it’s somewhere between my old nose and my surgery nose. From the side, rather than the nasal tip coming down, it goes up, so I think I understand what people mean when they say it looks lifted. Even before, my nose was upturned and short, but the nasal tip used to come downward from the side. My columella used to protrude before, but now it’s tucked in, and I still have bruising. I don’t regret the removal, but I briefly think maybe I should have had it done somewhere that could also shape it a bit. Still, they said it’s best to do it at the place where I had the surgery... and I didn’t have the time for surgery or the extra several million won to go elsewhere... so that’s how it is for now. But it is firm, and when I touch it, it tingles. The doctor told me not to touch it often, so after a few days I’m thinking of trying warm compresses. Ah, I think it’s true that you become less pretty. I originally thought there was no change in my front view before and after surgery, but maybe because it’s swollen, it looks quite different now. I want to recover well, return nicely to my old nose, and post another review. Oh, and I don’t really know about cartilage repositioning and things like that. I didn’t ask..
