About 1 year and 6 months ago, after my first surgery, I had osteotomy, ear cartilage, and septal cartilage done. My nasal tip was too low and didn’t look much different from the beginning, so 6 months after that, I had a second surgery using ear cartilage to reinforce and slightly raise the nasal tip. Now, 1 year after that, as you can see, something is bulging out on only one side. Depending on the viewing angle it sometimes doesn’t show well, and from the opposite angle it can be seen clearly. It’s around the middle area between the left nasal tip and the nasal bridge. You can see that part protruding in the photo too, right? But actually, since the ear cartilage was added to raise only the nasal tip, I don’t think the ear cartilage should be sticking out, because it seems too high up to be the area covered by the ear cartilage at the nasal tip. But there shouldn’t be anything inserted in the middle area between the nasal bridge and nasal tip either... For reference, I did not put in silicone... Is the ear cartilage thinly covering all the way up there... Why is this happening? In this kind of case, do I need revision surgery? Or is this about the level of a side effect? that everyone has? I’m not sure. And if I do need revision surgery, do I have to pay for it? Should I demand it for free? I’m curious what the usual case is. Honestly, just having surgery again is annoying and exhausting; who would actually want to do it again... Please give me answers and advice.
