<Front after surgery> My nose was big and had a hump
Before consulting hospitals, I really looked up a lot online I had to start studying and was preparing for employment,
but because I was looking into nose surgery, I could not focus on anything. For a total of two months, I searched online and went around to hospitals, and I was very exhausted~
I thought osteotomy and shaving could not be avoided because of my nose characteristics, so I had no choice but to do them,
but for the nasal tip, I had seen so many reviews saying that using septal cartilage makes it hard and uncomfortable and that people had it removed. I also considered placing ear cartilage, but for someone like me with a large, blunt nasal tip, I was afraid that if anything were placed on the tip it would look even bigger, and after a few years it would droop and become a humped nose with only the tip drooping.
My nasal tip was a little rounded, droopy, and unattractive, but I thought just tying the cartilage would at least be better, and the price was right too.
I had surgery with a director who said he could respect my wishes and only do nasal tip cartilage tying, but....
After the splint came off, guess what~ he said he had put autologous bone in my nasal tip~!! I had repeatedly and firmly told him before surgery not to put anything in, so I was stunned, thinking why did he put it in on his own?
Because I had just had the splint removed and stitches taken out, was crying, and was not in my right mind, I closed my eyes and said, "What?" He said he did it because otherwise the nasal tip would droop and not look pretty~
Without even having the mental space to look in the mirror, I went back to the director's office and asked whether he used it as a support strut or just placed it on top, and he said he just placed it on top~
He said he lightly tied the nasal tip and inserted the bone from my shaved hump~ Before payment, he had been so quiet and listened carefully to what I said,
but his tone had changed too~
Even if it is swelling on day 7-8 and the nose is puffy, only the nasal tip is too big~ I can already see signs that it will droop~
Even after the swelling goes down, I can predict that the nasal tip will be bigger than my previous nose, both from the front and the side~
I thought that if nasal tip cartilage tying was done well, it would become slimmer.... Instead, I have a bulbous nose.... I am so upset I feel like I want to die
On top of that, what is more serious is that when viewed from the front, the nasal tip is asymmetrical left to right~ㅠ ㅠ
My friend says it is very obvious even to the naked eye~ From my perspective, the right nostril wing is more raised and pinched
I wonder if the tying of the left nasal tip cartilage came undone.... I had facial asymmetry, but before surgery my nasal tip was symmetrical left to right~
I am also scared this could already be contracture starting....
The only thing I like is that the hump is gone; I really hate the nasal tip~
I am about to start employment soon, so I am extremely stressed~
