It’s been about two months since I had rhinoplasty (silicone + ear cartilage), and after thinking about it, I’ve decided to have it removed. Since I’m an international student, I’m leaving the country in two weeks and will come back in December. Even then, I’ll be in Korea for 3 weeks and then have to leave again to attend school.. By then it will be 6 months after surgery, so removal is possible, but I’m worried about swelling, bruising, contracture, etc... Even if I have it removed as soon as I arrive, I have to go straight back to school life 3 weeks later, so I’m worried... Will it be very noticeable to people? Next June, I have a 3-month vacation, but if I have it removed then, won’t it be harder to return to my original nose? I’ve heard that the nose will have adapted and the ear cartilage may adhere.
What should I do?
1. Remove it in December, 6 months later (but I have to leave the country and return to school life right after 3 weeks) 2. Remove it in June, 1 year later (ear cartilage adhesion?)
