Hello. It’s been one week since my nose surgery. Nose shape before surgery - It was upturned so both nostrils were visible, and it was a low nose + short nose! (A cute nose, but not a pretty one) Nose surgery method - Closed approach Raised the nasal tip with septal cartilage and supported the tip with ear cartilage. Slightly shaved down a dorsal hump and raised the nasal bridge with 4 mm silicone. The nose was slightly upturned, so they lowered the nasal tip. Concern - One week after surgery, I didn’t have all the stitches removed, only the parts that could be removed. After removing the splint and all the tape on my nose, the nasal tip looks like a bulbous nose, and the glabella area looks completely like Avatar.. Since I didn’t have a bulbous nose, I hadn’t worried about that at all, but now it actually looks like a bulbous nose. And I feel like my nose looks relatively long. Maybe it’s because the glabella area is swollen.. ㅜㅜ Every time I look in the mirror, I sigh and feel upset. The clinic says it’s because of swelling and tells me to wait, but I’m a little scared and upset. Everyone, after nose surgery, is it normal for the nasal tip to look this blunt and swollen, and for the glabella area to look like Avatar? Please answer!
