I had chin augmentation surgery yesterday My face is naturally very small and I barely had a chin, so they put in 9.5 mm. I was really worried because I had heard that if the implant is too large, it can cause side effects like bone resorption later on... But they said the silicone size used for a recessed chin itself is chosen so it is not large enough to cause side effects. And they said they carve everything and fit it to the chin, so I don’t need to worry. People say chin augmentation is simple and doesn’t hurt at all~ It really didn’t hurt at all during surgery or when I woke up from anesthesia. Today is the second day, and I don’t have any pain or anything. But........the compression bandage on my chin is wrapped so tightly that I can’t open my mouth. I can’t even eat porridge... From yesterday until today, I’ve had one yogurt, sucking it through a strawㅠㅠㅠ I hope they take the tape off soon... It feels so suffocatingㅠㅠ I’ll upload photos once the tape is removed
