Three years ago, just as I turned 40, wrinkles started forming diagonally beneath my under-eye fat and I suddenly looked much older.
So after consulting several clinics, I had fat repositioning done at a plastic surgery clinic in Apgujeong @@. It was a surgery done from inside the eyelid, and they said it was a procedure where the fat is pushed down toward the cheek below the eye and secured there.
Because there was no external wound after surgery, the swelling was minimal, and I didn’t have to worry much about washing my face. Three years later, it has not recurred, and I can live without worrying about my under-eyes at all. At the time of surgery, the doctor said the skin under the eyes could become sensitive and wrinkles could develop, but now at 43... compared with other people, it doesn’t seem like I’m getting more wrinkles. I do have age-related wrinkles, but there’s nothing that looks like a special surgical side effect. Thanks to this, I also keep up with applying eye cream carefully.
I had this done together with cheek augmentation, and after that I don’t seem to look as old as before. I was already a bit of a baby face~ ^^
