I also got a lot of help from this community, so I’m posting this hoping it will help ^^ It had been 4 years since I got my nose done (nasal bridge silicone, nasal tip ear cartilage) Because of a chalk-like phenomenon on the nasal bridge and because the bridge was crooked, even after 4 years I kept stressing over it, so I removed it.. Honestly, my side profile and things like that were fine, but when looking from the front, because of the chalk-like look and the crooked nose, it bothered me so much.... People around me tried to stop me, saying not to do it.. I had it removed with an open approach under local anesthesia, and when they gave 4-5 local anesthetic injections (pain of death) aside from that moment, the pain was okay.. They only taped the incision area on the nasal tip, and I wore a mask and came home.. They prescribed antibiotics and painkillers. I didn’t take anything like Lizaben?. The next day I felt so suffocated that I removed the taping, and on my own I disinfected the stitch area with Betadine and stuff;; For days 1-3, the area between the eyebrows looked broad and there was swelling, so I kind of looked like a fish-human?.... Since there was a capsule inside the nose, it didn’t suddenly become much lower just because the silicone was removed. After about a week, the stitches were removed, and around then, the capsule had all gone down and the nasal bridge felt hard, and my own nasal bridge was there.. I took a half-day on Friday and annual leave Saturday, Sunday, Monday, then from Tuesday I went to work with tape on haha. I put tape over the stitch area and made up some excuse...ㅡㅡ;;; As for the shape, I only removed the silicone from the nasal bridge and left the ear cartilage in the nasal tip, so my nose shape didn’t clearly go back to my old nose. (My old nose was a bit more bulbous-nose style) I wanted to leave the ear cartilage in lol because I was afraid it would become a blunt, bulbous nose lol I also worried a lot that the remaining nasal tip area and nasal bridge might be uneven, but the line connects naturally... Anyway, I think it was good that I removed it. It’s been 2 weeks now, and maybe because my nose originally had no inflammation, I’m not really sure about nasal contracture or anything like that.. After removal I didn’t separately do massage, warm compresses, or anything like that. I also don’t really notice the nose turning upward... maybe I’m just insensitive;;;;;;; Maybe because I left the nasal tip, even my friends say only the crooked part from my old nose disappeared, and it’s similar to my old nose... I had a lot of dissatisfaction with the crookedness, so anyway, I’m satisfied now... In my case, since I had the surgery after several years had passed, I don’t think it goes completely and clearly back to exactly before surgery.. Anyway, I hope this helps... Like 1

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Complete removal after one month due to nasal inflammation
I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I’m deciding between Asan and RU! Has anyone had surgery at Asan?ˀ̣
My nose had inflammation, so everything has been removed, and I think there’s still a little inflammation left. Considering that, I feel like Asan might be the right choice, but I’m so torn because I don’t know if the shape will turn out pr
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Can contracture also occur with implant-free autologous costal cartilage?
Just as the title says…..
