It's been about 6 months since I had nose surgery with 2mm silicone in the bridge and septal cartilage in the tip. I have a long face, and the silicone reaches up to the glabella, while the nasal tip has become pinched, making both my face and nose look even longer. I went back to the hospital where I had the surgery to remove the silicone and septal cartilage, and they said they'll only remove the silicone. For free.. Even though it's 2mm silicone, if they only remove the silicone from the nasal bridge and leave the septal cartilage at the tip, the balance between the bridge and the tip won't match, and only the tip will look pointed. But if they remove the septal cartilage too and reposition the cartilage, the surgery becomes much bigger and would have to be open, so they say to remove only the silicone without opening. The coordinator openly said the doctors dislike cases like this because if it's a revision surgery, they do it for free, so it seems like they just want to do the simple silicone removal because there’s no profit and a bigger surgery is bothersome. If the silicone is 2mm, wouldn't removing only the silicone and leaving the septal cartilage at the tip make the tip stand out more, or make the boundary look unnatural? I'm also so worried I'll need yet another revision surgery..
