Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

6 Months After Complete Removal in 3 Days

Ever since I was young, having a low nasal bridge was such a big complex for me, so this February I had surgery with silicone on the nasal bridge, a septal cartilage strut for the nasal tip, cartilage grafted onto the tip as well, and upturned nose correction. After the surgery, my image changed drastically. Because the upturned nose correction brought the columella out, and the bridge was built up from the glabella, it didn’t suit my face at all. I became really.. uglier than before.,.. Before surgery, I didn’t have an extremely pretty face, but I had a cute, baby-faced look, looked gentle, and lived hearing that I was pretty. After surgery, they built it up from the glabella, and the columella came down at the nasal tip, so it completely didn’t suit my face.. Something was really strange. My face was really strange after surgery, really a lot.. After the surgery, people around me said I had gotten uglier.. Why did you get plastic surgery? Seriously, why did you do it? Every time I heard things like that, I lived day by day with my heart hurt. Since I was a student, even attending classes was so hard, so every day I sat in the back row, went onto this community on my phone, and posted things like “What should I do? I want removal,” living like a wreck. There were times I heard harsh things after surgery too. Even when I looked at myself, it was really painful. Because I had eyes too. I was really suffering because of my face that had changed strangely, and three and a half months after surgery, I had complete removal at a university hospital. After removal, I could see my original face. The protruding columella went back in too. So I was really happy, hearing from people again that I looked cute. For two weeks after removal, I lived well, but because of contraction, my nose lifted from the side, and scar tissue even formed there. Every day when I woke up, it felt like my nose had contracted more? Should I say it felt like the nasal tip was being tightened? My nose hurt, and when I went into a cold place with the air conditioner on, it felt even more contracted and it was hard. After one month from removal, it did get quite a bit better. At the same time, I felt the contraction release very slightly, little by little. Then it gradually loosened little by little. After that, as the contraction released, should I say the nostrils opened slightly more than before? But these days I’ve been thinking that even at 4 or 5 months, it was still a period when the contraction hadn’t fully released. I think that was also a period when the lifted part was gradually coming down. Maybe I’m still in that period now too. Because from the side, as the lifted part caused by contraction came back down, it came all the way down from the side, but the right nostril was pinched, and the slightly? lifted part did come down, but it didn’t come down perfectly. After that, the slightly lifted nostril didn’t seem to show signs of coming down, but after 5 months passed, changes started to show, and now it has almost come down. I think the lifted nostril took longer to come down. Somehow I wonder if it will get even better and better with time. When I entered the fifth month, I felt the shape and form of the nasal tip subtly change as many as three times. People who haven’t had removal probably won’t really understand what kind of process this is. But people who have had removal will know. And among people who simply had silicone with only a nasal tip strut, or people who had silicone with cartilage grafted onto the nasal tip, when I look at people who had simple surgeries, some didn’t get contraction. But because I had silicone, a strut placed, cartilage grafted onto the nasal tip, and upturned nose correction surgery, my nose was manipulated more, so I think recovery of the nose takes longer. Now that it has been six months after complete removal, the thought of “I’m going to get revision rhinoplasty” has disappeared from my mind again. After experiencing failure from plastic surgery, the wounds and pain I went through then were really big, so even after removal, the wounds and pain I received then haven’t been washed clean away, and I feel distressed about plastic surgery.. But on the other hand, I no longer judge people by appearance when I see them.. And people who judge by appearance now only look truly awful to me.. And I think my personality has changed a lot. Should I say I’ve become a bit sharp? Maybe it’s because I’m very sensitive.
