I only had my nasal tip done with ear cartilage through a closed approach. I did it without an implant. But on my face, it ended up too high, so I wish it would droop a bit.. My originally rounded nasal tip became pointier, so my nostrils show more, and it feels upturned. Like the recent look of actress Chae Jung-an’s nose.. the columella disappeared and the nasal tip is upturned. This clinic doesn’t just raise the tip with ear cartilage; they also build a strut with ear cartilage and lift it, so I think that’s why it doesn’t droop much. Since it’s the most natural material, if you dislike a hard nasal tip and want it to look subtle, I think it’s not a bad choice..... I had it done closed, but during the consultation, I felt there wasn’t much I could request about the shape. At the time, I also didn’t really know what would be important for my nose shape, so I couldn’t ask for much. I did hear that they couldn’t lower a high nasal tip angle. Now, I’m thinking that if the angle of my nose is left as is, but the columella is brought out more so the nostrils show less, the upturned feeling might be reduced, so I’m considering it. Lately, I’ve really been realizing the importance of the columella. Lee Si-an’s nose is upturned, but her columella is plump, so it looks cute and doesn’t give a piggy-nose feel. On the other hand, Shin Bong-sun’s is upturned, but she has no columella, so it gives that piggy-nose, upturned feeling. Conclusion; Pros: It was closed rhinoplasty using ear cartilage, but it hasn’t drooped. The side profile is pretty. Cons: From the front, the upturned feeling isn’t pretty. Not everyone’s nose will be as small as mine or be the same case as mine, so I’m not saying I don’t recommend this clinic. Before getting surgery, make sure to think a lot about the shape of your columella and consult well with the doctor too!!
