It has now been 8 days since I had my nose done... But when the splint came off and I looked in the mirror, it really looked like a completely different person from before surgery was standing there... (Because I had been preparing for nose surgery for about 4 years, through rhinoplasty reviews and seeing friends around me who had their noses done, I know this is not because of swelling. It will become much smaller than now, but anyway I know that even as time passes, this nasal tip shape will not change.) Usually after surgery, the nasal tip becomes more defined and slim, but my nose looks like Pat & Mat’s clay nose, Aebong’s nose, Jo Seok’s girlfriend character, or a giant picky squid nose... the nasal tip is... ㅜㅜ Sigh. And when I searched through all of this hospital’s cases, they had designed other surgical patients’ noses that way too.. Even patients one year later after the swelling had gone down had the exact same shape as my nose today.. Despair.. If I originally had a bulbous nose or tough, thick nasal skin I would understand, but my skin is thin.. (At other hospitals, they all said I had a basic nose and that my skin was not thin enough to need dermis grafting, but only at this hospital.. they put dermis on.) I cried all day today, thinking I just want to go back to my original nose, and that God is making me pay expensive tuition and punishing me like this because I was too greedy.. The surgery was: nasal bridge: silicone (with added scalp fascia) + septal cartilage (scalp fascia). They said if I want to remove everything completely, it has to be done within 2 weeks, otherwise I have to wait 6 months, so I’m going to decide by tomorrow and tell the director the day after tomorrow. Has anyone, like me, had the nasal tip shape after surgery become rounder, wider, and thicker than their original nasal tip, then had removal? Most people seemed to remove it because their nasal tip shape was pretty but they had a foreign-body sensation, or because it was excessively pointed. If the nasal tip looked strange and I remove it, it does go back to the way it was, right?ㅜㅜ
