After jaw surgery, I ended up with a dog-like jaw, so I had jaw reconstruction. It’s been about 7 years now.. the swelling lasted a very long time. I think it kept going down for about 2 years, and the dog-like jaw improved. Once all the swelling went down, I did wonder if my chin was a bit small, but there are no other side effects. It was expensive, but I’m still satisfied. I’m thinking about reconstructing my cheekbones too…
