Honest thoughts on two types of facial contouring surgery

<Before><After>- Complex I normally had a retruded chin that sat far back, and the lower jaw itself was long, making my chin look even longer + asymmetry To improve the retruded chin at least, I had filler placed in the front of the chin tip, but because of gravity it gradually moved downward over time and made my chin look even bigger Before surgery, I got injections to dissolve the filler, and my chin moved farther back; it did get a little smaller, but the chin tip was still long - First hospital visit I visited after seeing reviews in a community The hospital felt clean and luxurious inside, as if it had been newly remodeled The staff were kind, and the director accurately pointed out the parts that were my complexes during the consultation The surgical process was explained calmly, the director tended to listen, and was not particularly the type to push recommendations - Surgery day I had about 2 weeks, but from the day before I couldn’t sleep well because I was half afraid and half excited I ate a lot of protein-focused foods like meat and sashimi, since I wouldn’t be able to eat them for a while When I entered the operating room I was just overwhelmed, and since it was my first time under general anesthesia, I was so scared until the anesthetic went in; I felt vascular pain in my arm and then fell asleep I woke up to the nurse calling me, and the hardest part was after the surgery was over Pain was pain, but because of the pain-control injection I vomited all night, so it was extremely hard (I resolved never to do it again) Right after I came out of the operating room, I looked so rough that I was teased for looking like an ugly fish - 1 week after surgery There was almost no swelling even until the day after surgery, but sure enough, the day after that, there was some bread-man in the mirror.. The next day I swelled even more and hit the peak More than my chin hurting, my face with such severe swelling looked so ugly that my heart hurt more I’m around day 6 now, and it seems like the swelling has peaked and is going back down; I’m taking walks diligently and drinking swelling tea too - Current thoughts The swelling hasn’t all gone down yet, so I don’t know what I’ll look like once everything fully settles, but I’m looking forward to it The pain is momentary, but there are many things to keep up with by the hour, like the compression band, cold compresses, and mouthwash, and having to eat liquid food with no solid bits for 2 weeks felt inconvenient, so I felt it was a surgery with a lot of discomforts
