Anyone who has searched around about cheekbones probably knows it, I had soft cheekbone reduction at ㅁㅇㅁㄷㄱ!!!
I was worried about cheek sagging, and I also had square jaw surgery before, so I was concerned that if I had another intraoral incision, the inside of my mouth would be wrecked. After thinking it over, they said we should do it safely here, so I decided to go with it!!
But although safety was important, since I was paying for it, I also wanted to see results, so I was worried right up until just before surgery ㅠㅠㅠ There wasn’t much information here, and a few posts said it was safe but the effect wasn’t dramatic ㅜㅜㅜㅜ So I had an in-depth consultation with the director right before going in!!! Still, the director seemed to pay a lot of attention, so I did feel reassured!!
And now it’s already day 4 after surgery! I had it on Friday and now it’s Monday, but honestly, by my standards, I’m not sure about being able to go to work like the ads say ㅜㅜ I still have bruising that is very bluish under my eyes, and there is a lot of swelling, so my eye shape doesn’t look like my old self. Unless I wear sunglasses, it is 100% obvious in daily life and feels burdensome ㅜㅜ Of course it’s only day 4 and it’s because of swelling, but please don’t trust too much that recovery is possible in just 3 days, because there are individual differences ㅜㅜㅜ I’m a student, so I completely cleared 2 weeks for this and it doesn’t matter, but office workers, please keep this in mind ㅠㅠㅠ
After I decided on cheekbone surgery here, I joined this community because of that and searched a lot, but there was still too little information ㅠㅠ So I’m leaving a somewhat long post for people who feel frustrated like me...!!! And if anyone had soft cheekbone reduction here, please give me some information ㅠㅠ Around when does the swelling go down enough for daily life? ㅠㅠㅠ Will people not notice by the one-week mark? ㅜㅜ When will the bruising go away? ㅜㅜ Are there any side effects...ㅠㅠ
Also, I have TOEIC on Sunday, so I’m studying while wearing the compression band, and when studying I can’t help but lower my head. If I lower my head, could nonunion happen..? ㅜㅜ I’m so worried!!!!! ㅜㅜ Please help!!!!
