<1 week><1 month>I'm the OP who posted a month ago saying I was worried because my nose had become Squidward-like! First of all, thank you so much to everyone who related, comforted me... and also said the shape was pretty. The swelling is going down in the order of glabella-nasal bridge-nasal tip haha ✔️Until week 2, my face was really swollen and tight, but week by week the swelling has been going down a lot. ✔️For the nasal bridge, when viewed from the side, the starting point has slightly lowered, and as the swelling went down, the height also decreased. It feels like the silicone got lowered by about 1.5 mm? lol ✔️And most importantly, the issues that worried me the most: the elongated nasal tip and the lowered columella.. The nasal tip definitely went up a bit haha (my original nose was an upturned nose) The way you can tell is.. as time passes, the columellar scar is definitely more visible from the front. That means the nasal tip has gone up! I think it turned out natural enough that people around me wouldn't notice unless they looked closely~ From the side, the nasal bridge is definitely higher, so it does show a bit! Now, as the bridge swelling goes down, I have another concern: the silicone border and the silicone shape show through whitishly haha It doesn't show through severely yet, so I'm just considering revision surgery to lower the silicone height after 6 months or 1 year.. Other than that.. sensation in my nasal tip definitely came back around week 3. It felt tingly, like the nerves in my nose were loosening up.. I can also flare my nostrils lol The part of the nasal tip where I had septal extension is still hard. When I smile, it feels like a witch nose. But I believe this will also naturally improve once the columella goes up and the muscles loosen. As for the clinic.. honestly, when I went for an early correction consultation, I wasn't very happy with how they handled it.. and thinking about it now, I feel like I went because I got caught by viral marketing, so I won't disclose it. Still, I think the goal shouldn't be 100% improvement from my original nose, and I should be satisfied with even 70% improvement; I'm roughly 80% satisfied.. so I guess it wasn't a bad clinic for me. Everyone, please filter out all the clinics mentioned in broker comments.. Don't be tempted by same-day booking discounts either (I got this too lol thinking back, I was so foolish), and I hope you choose your clinic carefully.. Let's all have safe and pretty successful nose surgeries!! Thanks again to everyone who supported me ^^
