Kowon review

I wanted revision surgery, so for about 5 months I worked hard searching online and visiting clinics in person, thought carefully, and made my decision. I had only done my nasal tip without an implant, but it gradually drooped, and I was dissatisfied with the nasal bridge looking too low from certain side angles, so I focused on that while going to consultations. As soon as the director came in for the consultation, he apologized for keeping me waiting. I hadn’t even waited 30 minutes, but at another clinic I had a consultation after waiting 2 hours past my appointment timeㅠ That made me feel they treated patients sincerely here. He immediately noticed the drooping like an arrow nose when I smile, the low nasal bridge, and the nasolabial angle being too narrow, which made me look like I had protruding lips. He explained in detail that this was because of a specific muscle and how he would operate, so I felt I could trust him. I also liked that he finishes the nasal tip with a rounded feel, and his overall aesthetic matched mine, so I got a strong feeling right away. The consultant was also very considerate and told me to think it over enough after consultations at other clinics before deciding. So I went to another clinic I had been considering for comparison, but I was sure the feeling I got at this clinic was right, so I scheduled the surgery date immediately. The fact that they do two surgeries a day, provide a tablet showing real-time CCTV to the guardian, and that I could check progress with the director every time after surgery were also major factors in choosing the clinic. Before surgery, I met the director and had a detailed consultation about the design I wanted, what materials would be used, and how the surgery would proceed, then went into surgery. After they shaved my nose hairs and disinfected me, I was so cold that I was thinking I really hoped they would put me under anesthesia, and then the director came in, greeted me, and anesthesia started. When I opened my eyes, I was lying in the recovery room.. Even after surgery, every time I made an appointment and went to the clinic, I was treated with almost no waiting. The director came in to check my progress and gave definite treatment even for ambiguous wounds, so I often thought I had really done well to get surgery from him. The autologous costal cartilage wound area may differ by person, but it was smaller than I expected, so I’m going to manage it while applying scar ointment! At first after removing the splint, I worried a lot because maybe he had overcorrected it and the line looked too much like a scooped-up Korean traditional shoe nose, but after 2 weeks the swelling went down quickly and the line I wanted came out. It’s exactly the same as the Photoshop line the director showed me during consultationㅋㅋㅋㅋ He is so precise.. For me, the side view mattered too, but I wanted improvement from the front, and the slightly pinched-nose feeling also improved. As the glabella and nasal bridge rose, the T-zone became clearly more defined, so I really like itㅠㅠ Of course, the nose itself can’t become extremely small and slim, but since the nasal tip went up, it looks a little smaller? But if it had been a small and slim shape, I really don’t think it would have suited my face. My face is a bit roundish.. I’m also satisfied with the side view because correcting the nasolabial angle made the mouth, which looked protruded because the angle was too narrow, look set back, and the overall side line of the face looks harmonious. Since it was revision surgery, part of me wanted to go more dramatic, but the director stopped me, and when I asked for it to be as high as possible while still looking natural, the line came out refined but not excessive. If I had wanted more, I think it would have looked obviously surgical and unnatural. Smiling is still a little awkward and my philtrum feels a bit tight, but it keeps improving, so I’m not forcing or pulling it and am trusting the process while waiting. I was so stressed while going around to clinics, but I feel this is the result of going through that stress, researching, and choosing a clinic I liked well, so I don’t regret it. Everyone here is probably also looking a lot into nose surgery or revision rhinoplasty, and I hope you research clinics really thoroughly, choose carefully, and become prettier.
