The swelling has gone down a lot compared with yesterday, but I still have a little pain, and I’m disinfecting every 3 hours. They removed the splint yesterday, but I still have taping on. I want to take the tape off, but they told me to come back in a week to have the stitches removed, and they didn’t say to remove it before then, so I can’t take it off. I heard the splint also helps prevent bleeding or fluid accumulation, so I’m worried that if I remove the tape for no reason, it might swell upㅎ My husband teases me, saying I look like Avatarㅋ There’s gauze padded under the tape too, so the glabella area is completely ㅋㅋ I want to take the tape offㅜ I can’t even wash my faceㅜㅜ
I’m applying regenerative ointment, and I’m not doing compresses, but I’m taking the runny-nose medicine and the medicine the hospital told me to take every day until the stitches are removed, so I’m so sleepy.. When I sweep down the nasal bridge, it still hurts.. It’s because it’s getting better, right?ㄷㄷ
I only removed the silicone, but it feels like the septal nasal tip has also lowered a bit, and when I looked in the mirror after they removed the splint at the hospital, there was a boundary line (contour?) between the raised septum area and where the silicone was removed. I just hope it doesn’t get worseㅜ
Even with the tape stuck on thickly, it feels smaller and more modest. I’m curious because it also seems like it may have dropped way down.
I shouldn’t remove it early, right?
