Removal of Costal Cartilage

I’m writing because I was reading reviews and wanted to share some information. I had surgery with silicone + costal cartilage, and after about 7 months I had the costal cartilage removed, the sutures tying the cartilage removed, had it tied a little with dissolvable sutures instead, and had the silicone inserted 1 mm lower. The reason I had it removed was pain. There was no inflammation, and the shape definitely improved a lot after 6 months, but even up until the revision surgery, the pain in my nose did not go away. My nasal tip and nostril area hurt when they moved partially or after making big facial expressions, to the point that I was afraid to talk. I was under so much stress from the pain, but the doctor seemed like he could not understand it at all and said he had never had anyone complain of pain like me. Is there really no one else who was still in pain like me even after 6 months? Also, I couldn’t find posts saying they had costal cartilage removed, so I agonized a lot before having revision surgery. It hurt so much that I felt I would only feel at ease if I removed it, and although many people remove silicone, I couldn’t find cases of costal cartilage removal. I was very worried about whether my nose might collapse. Then I finally had the removal surgery, and today is day 5. The doctor checked it and asked if it hurt less, but honestly, it hurts. It hurts somewhat like before. However, since the costal cartilage is gone and the nasal tip is lower, daily life is more comfortable. Before, I would bump it a bit, and because of the foreign-body sensation, there were facial expressions or actions I couldn’t do, but now I think I can do some of them. Though I’m still taped, so I’m not sure yet. If anyone has had costal cartilage removed, I would appreciate any information. Of course, I was in pain even before removal, but in my nose they did not build a columellar strut and instead placed the costal cartilage on top. The nasal tip, which I suspect is the area where that costal cartilage was removed, hurts as if it is pulling.
