Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Please give me advice

Two months ago, I had surgery with 3 mm silicone + septal cartilage and ear cartilage. The swelling was going down well and I was doing fine without any major issues, but on the day it had been one month, the bridge of my nose around the glabella suddenly swelled up again, so I went into surgery to have it removed. But when they actually opened it up, they said thankfully it was not inflammation but a hematoma (blood pooling), so they did not remove the silicone. I was relieved and spent another month like that, but then my nose swelled up again and the pain at the nasal tip became severe, so I went straight to the hospital. The repeated swelling and nasal tip pain seemed to be an inflammatory reaction, so today they removed only the silicone.

What I’m worried about is that I had more severe pain in the nasal tip than in the bridge of my nose. I’m wondering if they should have removed all the nasal tip cartilage too, rather than only removing the silicone. Strangely, my nasal tip hurt so much. I can’t tell whether the nasal tip hurts because of silicone inflammation, or whether something went wrong with the nasal tip surgery and that’s why it hurts. The doctor said it would be better to remove only the silicone, so I had only the silicone taken out today, but I keep worrying that my nasal tip may continue to hurt and that I should have removed the nasal tip together as well. Should I go back tomorrow and ask them to remove the cartilage too? Why didn’t the doctor remove everything? Was it because it was bothersome? Those who have had removal, please give me advice. I’m so worried I can’t sleep. Please help.
