It has been exactly 11 days today since I had the silicone & septal cartilage support completely removed!! I'll write this following my reviews from day 1, day 5, and day 7 haha Please refer to my previous posts for a detailed explanation of the surgical method!
Today I also had all the internal stitches removed! As the swelling goes down, my nasal tip is gradually becoming slimmer.
Currently, on day 11, the shape of my nose is: From my original nose shape, the hump is gone, and as the alar cartilage was tied, the drooping nasal tip lifted slightly, and the shape of my nostrils also changed to a rounder shape haha I wish the swelling would not go down any further and it would stay just like this. I really like the current shape exactly as it is.. hahaha
Maybe the contracture phase is starting, because my nose is gradually becoming hard again. The columella also feels a little tight little by littleㅠㅠ.. After removal, I'm not doing any special care, just bought pumpkin juice, a multivitamin, and vitamin E and I'm taking them every day~ At the hospital where I had it done, they told me not to do warm compresses or massage and just leave it alone!
I'm trying to keep my mind at ease haha Because after the surgery, I had been so stressed because of the nose shape and the foreign-body sensation..,
And I'm only applying scar ointment to the open-incision scar area~~ Does everyone apply it? The doctor said even if I don't apply it, there won't be a scar, but I'm anxious so I am applying it....
