I'm about D+3 after square jaw surgery... but the swelling is really not going down. I heard there was heavy bleeding during the surgery, and maybe because of that, I also have a large bruise on one side of my cheek. When I had nose surgery before, I did feel that I'm the type whose swelling doesn't go down easily, but now that it's my jaw, it's even worse; Even the clinic seemed a bit startled because the swelling is so severe. One side of my cheek looks like it has some kind of grumpy pouch completely attached to it =_= Is there any way to make the swelling go down a bit faster? I have to go back to work next Monday, so this is difficult. For reference, I'm doing about 1-2 hours of light exercise a day, and I'm eating things like porridge or mashed potatoes. I'm drinking about 5 pumpkin juices a day... and I'm getting laser treatments and injections every day to help the swelling subside. But the problem is that even with all this, the swelling barely goes down... Other patients I see at the clinic have only been about a week post-op, but it barely shows and a lot of their swelling is already gone. I don't know why I'm like this. It's so swollen that I can't even check how the jawline was shaped; For those who had a lot of swelling like me... I'm curious how you dealt with it before going back to work
