I had non-fixation cheekbone reduction

It’s been about ten days I had non-fixation cheekbone reduction through minimal incisions. The swelling is going down and I’m satisfied with the effect by my standards, but the problem is that the clinic told me to press my cheekbones with my hands several times a day. Honestly, I didn’t want to press them, but since it was non-fixation, I was afraid the cheekbones would go back, so I did press hard, but it kept making sounds, and it even made sounds when I ate, for a week... While sleeping, I tilted my head back and there was a crack!!!!! sound, and one cheekbone started to feel extremely achy.. I pressed it once, and it feels different from before.. It feels like the bone itself gets pushed in and then returns to its original position? Right now I’m shaking with extreme fear.... When I look in the mirror, there’s no visible problem.. They said to keep pressing for about 3 more days, but now I’m scared, so I’m not going to press anymore
