These days, each day feels so long I can't believe it's still only week 2 after removal. It's been a long time since time passed this slowly I had an early removal 17 days after surgery My nasal tip was originally upturned, but because they left the cartilage tying in, only the nasal tip is extremely high. They say swelling at the nasal tip lasts the longest.. and I think the scar tissue at the nasal tip is no joke right now too When I touch my nose, maybe because of the ear cartilage removal, from the middle of the nose to the nasal tip it's very hard and somehow feels thick.. it's just really hard. When I touch the nasal bridge too, it feels like the wound inside is healing, and if comparing it to our skin, it feels like a scab formed and became hard So from day 11 after removal, my nose started turning upward, and now my nose is shorter, smaller, and my nostrils show.. Because of this, my face looks so ugly to me that I cry when I look in the mirror.. For blood pooling, the first time it pooled a bit excessively after surgery, so a lot of blood was drained.. the second time it pooled after removal. It wasn't a lot
Maybe because I'm still young, or because I tend to recover quickly.. Some people get the contraction phase at one or two months, but for me, as soon as the swelling went down, it's LTE-level contraction. Since my recovery isn't slow either, I just hope this period passes too.. In a way, that's self-justification..
The cartilage tying bothers me, so when I open my eyes in the morning my heart pounds, I dream about it, and I can't even swallow food, so yesterday I almost collapsed I thought everything had been removed, but the hospital told me they had left the cartilage tying in.. When my nose recovers, I hope the cartilage tying is so unnoticeable that it really doesn't show at all.. (Is there anyone who only left cartilage tying in..? I'm curious how much of an effect the tying has, or whether it was minimal) Most of the major swelling is gone, but the eyes still look pulled inward It's only day 14, but I'm impatient, so waiting is a bit hard.. Even when I meet my boyfriend, tears suddenly stream down, and when I'm at home, my chest feels blocked and I feel so suffocated, and I especially can't meet friends...
My complaining got long, right.. There really is nowhere else besides here where I can talk like this.. For those like me, let's hang in there together I hope we all get through this time together and talk again 6 months later with prettier faces
