Review 18 Days After Removing 4 mm L-Shaped Silicone

The first photo is my bare nose, the second is 4 mm L-shaped silicone, the third is right after surgery, and the fourth/fifth are about 10 days after removal surgery + cartilage repositioning..

Seeing these photos makes me think my old bare nose had its own charm too. (Still, I don't want to go back to my bare nose,,) In photos it may look just okay, but in three dimensions it was just a typical spread, upturned nose + bulbous nose. I don't have many old photos left, so it's hard to show.. but my nostrils looked more lifted than in the photos..

It wasn't that I had no nasal bridge, so I wanted tip correction, but I met the wrong doctor and tried to correct my upturned nose with 4 mm L-shaped silicone, and it failed.... After inserting the silicone, it became even more upturned and my nose got bigger.. Still, because I had surgery.. from the front, photos kind of came out with a celebrity-like feel, and my features looked defined.. My problem was the very artificial look (the glabella and forehead were a straight line.. too high.. the side looked even more lifted) and when I lay on my side, it felt like the silicone was shifting with gravity.. Feeling that, I wondered if I had to live like this forever.. (If the satisfaction from becoming prettier was greater than this kind of discomfort, you probably wouldn't have thought about removal.) I was psychologically very anxious and the type to worry a lot.. Even the thought that I could remove it when I got older.. started turning into thoughts of how awful it would look if the silicone showed through when I aged.. (Thinking about it now, I was really foolish) I had all kinds of thoughts, and I felt like I was going to lose my mind, and wasting my life worrying felt too precious, so I eventually had it removed.

They had said they would do this and that with Medpor in the septum.. but in the end there was only silicone, so I was really dumbfounded. On the other hand, I thought it was actually incredibly fortunate that there was only silicone..

There are many people who say they want to go back to their old nose, but mine was not a nose I wanted to go back to.. so I had cartilage repositioning. The only foreign material, if you can call it that, is a few strands of thread, and apparently even the thread eventually loses its supporting strength.,.? They did say that in the meantime tissue would fill in and I wouldn't have to worry for the rest of my life.. well...ㅋ Right now my nasal tip has been lowered and fixed.. I feel a pulling sensation.. I'm just waiting and hoping it fixes well..

There is still a lot of swelling in the nasal tip.. It looks similar to my old nose shape.. but they said once the swelling goes down, the nasal tip will become smaller than it is now. Thanks to the cartilage repositioning, I'm much more satisfied with how it looks in person than before.. especially from the side angle, the nose has come down a lot. You can think of my bare nose's side angle as being midway between when I had silicone and now. If I had done only cartilage repositioning from the beginning, I would have been so satisfied, but I ended up taking the long way around,,ㅋㅋ

The swelling is still steadily going down.. I tend to swell a bit originally..ㅋ

After putting in the silicone, there weren't really many reactions saying I looked prettier, but after removing it and becoming more natural, now everyone, literally everyone, says I'm pretty and that I did well.. Even my mom had been telling me to remove the silicone. She is very satisfied now. If you compare photos, it's a big difference.. but if you just look at the nose, you don't notice the difference that much. This image doesn't go anywhere..ㅋㅋ

I was trembling so much even up on the operating table, (even when they disinfect and treat me, just lying down still makes the memory vivid enough that I shake.. I'm this faint-hearted, yet I had surgery twice..ㅋㅋ) but after doing it, I feel really light, refreshed, and relieved.

You really have to decide carefully, and of course, not touching it at all is best, but I hope you make a good and careful decision.

You may be very anxious and worried right now, but just as water tastes better and the air feels fresher after crossing a mountain, because it was a mistake that wasn't quite a mistake.. if you've decided you need to correct it.. I think it's a process you have to overcome..ㅠㅠ

Manage your condition well when you have surgery.. whether you remove it or not.. Since plastic surgery is primarily about your own satisfaction.. I think it depends on how you set your mind... Please don't worry too much about your nose here.. I hope you stay with a healthy mindset..

Of course, since you're paying money for it.. it could be a large sum? and it's right to try to be as satisfied as possible, but after already experiencing failure and frustration with the first surgery, I lost trust in hospitals as a whole, and I took time to reflect once again on my own nose, and I put aside the feeling of expectation.. I was most afraid of myself, in case I got my hopes up, became disappointed, and touched my nose again. Because I was afraid of that, I didn't have expectations. Thanks to not having expectations, I'm very happy now..

If you have anything you're curious about, please tell me. I'd like to help with questions related to surgery/reviews.. As for hospital information, I hope you look around in person, research, and decide for yourself, because I'm someone who experienced that even if you go somewhere good through word of mouth, your own nose can still turn out badly.. so I'll decline to share hospital information. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
