Hello. After suffering for nearly 10 months from silicone inflammation, I finally had the silicone removed ㅠㅠ It seems like there aren’t many people in this community who had removal due to inflammation, so I’m writing this hoping it can be a small helpㅠㅠ Let’s stay strong together! First, I had used L-shaped silicone. What the consultant said during the surgery consultation was different from the method the director usedㅠㅠ For me, the inflammation wasn’t at the nasal tip but on the nasal bridge, and the tip of my nose felt hot and burning, so I lost sleep every night.. On the first consultation day for surgery, the director kept recommending revision surgery, but I was too sensitive, so I decided to just have it removed. On the day of the revision surgery, I wasn’t even nervous, just calm. Actually, I was looking forward to it. Because it was the day the burning sensation in my nose from inflammation would disappear. After sedation anesthesia, the surgery finished 1 hour later. I think it took longer because of the inflammation irrigation. They didn’t put on anything like a splint? and I asked for a prescription for Rizaben, but the doctor said, “Am I the doctor, or are you?” and said I didn’t need a Rizaben prescriptionㅠㅠ sob Right now, pumpkin juice + vitamins + water I’m continuing to take these, and since it’s day 3, I’m diligently doing ice compresses. Starting tomorrow, I’m going to do warm compresses and massage. Since my long nose is starting to get shorter, it’s scary too.. that’s how I feel. Still, I’m so glad the foreign-body sensation inside my nose and the burning sensation are gone. There is a bit of pulling, but I hope it just stays like this. My friends also say I look prettier after removing it......... Scar tissue will probably come soon too, right? I’m not scared!! I’m going to endure it.
