The silicone I got in my first surgery may not be right for me, because the foreign-body sensation has been getting worse. So I finally decided to get a revision, did all my online and in-person research, and ended up deciding to get revision rhinoplasty at Aㅂㅋ. I’m having the silicone removed and getting surgery without an implant. Will recovery be slower than my first surgery? I heard that because it’s a revision, recovery is often slower than the first surgery. But since I’m removing the silicone and doing it newly without an implant, I thought recovery might be faster than using silicone... So I’m asking.!! Since it’s a revision, I feel like I’m thinking about every little thing.. hahaha

미진잉잉 It probably varies case by case, but I actually felt like my recovery was faster after getting my revision at ㅍㄴㅅ. Other than my abdomen feeling tight because I used autologous costal cartilage, there wasn’t much that felt very different from my first surgery.
eundi I’m also recovering after revision surgery, and I don’t feel like it’s slow or anything! I used autologous costal cartilage as the material, so I’m just a little bothered by the area where the rib cartilage was harvested.
최애아이 I think it’s more case by case than about the material. For me, though, I don’t think it took longer just because it was revision surgery. It was similar.
