I'm curious how it is to use autologous costal cartilage for the whole nose I heard RU and Honesty use autologous costal cartilage overall, starting from the nasal bridge. I wonder if it's safer when doing revision surgery for a contracted nose.. They say autologous costal cartilage is extremely firm, but I'm curious whether there is any foreign-body sensation or whether it looks unnatural. I also wonder if warping is okayㅠ And for Made Young and Mind, is it true they only use autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip? Then what about the nasal bridge? The Nan is also famous, but the look they aim for is on the more glamorous side, so I'm a bit tornㅠ It's not easy narrowing down hospitals for where to go for revision surgery for a contracted noseㅠ
Clinics mentioned
유우 I know RU and The Nan use it for both the nasal bridge and nasal tip, and I'm not sure about Honesty. Mind had a lot of reviews using it for the nasal tip, and I think they used silicone for the nasal bridge.
귤껍질맥주 Isn't the nasal bridge silicone?.. Autologous costal cartilage is usually used for the nasal tip. Try going to places that are good with difficult noses!! If you visit mainly hospitals that are good with difficult noses, like ㅅㅇㅋ ㅂㄹㅋ ㄷㄴ ㅇㅊㅂ ㅁㅈ, maybe you'll find one you like.
박꿀밤 They do say it's good to do stem cell treatment together for revision surgery on a contracted nose..ㅠㅠ Since nose-specialized hospitals like Objet do it, looking into it might help.
똬우루 Use autologous costal cartilage only up to the columella, and use septal cartilage or ear cartilage for the tip to avoid cartilage show-through ㅠ
지우야학교가자 I understand autologous costal cartilage is used for the nasal tip. Looking at reviews, it seems sturdy, but it does seem to have a somewhat hard feel. I think people get used to it over time.. For now, I think I saw that ㅁㅇㄷㅇ and ㄷㄴ are places that handle autologous costal cartilage well.
파란휴지 If it's contracted, silicone isn't allowed, right?
파란휴지 [@귤껍질맥주] I heard they don't use silicone if it's contracted, but I also don't know if using autologous costal cartilage for the whole thing is rightㅠ For now, I made a reservation to go for a consultation.
파란휴지 [@똬우루] Could it be that the method differs by hospital?ㅠㅠ
파란휴지 [@지우야학교가자] They say it's okay once you get used to it, but since it's sturdy, it can't help but be hard and firm and all thatㅠ
똬우루 [@파란휴지] Yeah, it differs by doctor too. I got an AS revision from a different doctor at the same hospital because I developed cartilage show-through.
별이맘15 I was also like, huh? when ㄹㅅㅍ said they could do everything with autologous costal cartilage. At four other places, I was recommended silicone + ear cartilage + donated costal cartilage or autologous costal cartilage I was curious whether it’s okay to do everything with autologous costal cartilage

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Complete removal after one month due to nasal inflammation

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I’m deciding between Asan and RU! Has anyone had surgery at Asan?ˀ̣
My nose had inflammation, so everything has been removed, and I think there’s still a little inflammation left. Considering that, I feel like Asan might be the right choice, but I’m so torn because I don’t know if the shape will turn out pr
