Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I scheduled the removal date, has anyone had removal including hump and osteotomy...

Medpor strut + septal cartilage nasal tip + cartilage tying + silicone + osteotomy + hump

It’s been almost 2 months since surgery

Hmm, I feel kind of unsettled

I can accept becoming less attractive after removal

I don’t know. Whether this is the right thing to do.....

They said the surgery time is quick, about 15 to 20 minutes

They said it doesn’t matter whether I remove it now or later

They said if it’s not inflammation, Medpor adhesion is completely irrelevant

When I asked if they could show me the removed implants after removal,

maybe they got a bit annoyed, asking why I was so suspicious and begging me not to believe strange stories floating around online

They said it was frustrating for them that I don’t trust a specialist’s words

And they said removal is possible anytime, so if I wanted to set a removal date, just let them know

So I said, okay, I’ll schedule it right away, and booked it for next Tuesday

Of course the cost is free..

The most important thing: after complete removal, I asked whether they would reposition the alar cartilage, meaning the wing cartilage

They said since I originally had a bulbous nose, if everything is removed it will become lower and spread out, so even if they reposition it, the shape won’t come out well

And they said the part I need to prepare myself for the most is that the nasal dorsum could become bumpy like a saddle nose

They said there are other variables too

The nasal tip could lift slightly, and so on

I recorded all the consultation content from before the first surgery

In case something goes wrong later

After coming home and listening to the consultation, I’m thinking again

It’s not that I’m hesitating, more like mentally preparing myself for the worst possible variables?

Honestly, I’m really trembling thinking about how shocked I might be

And whether I’ll be shocked and end up getting revision surgery again.

Even though I’m planning to live wearing glasses for the rest of my life now, what if the shape really, really changes, if it changes so much I can’t handle it

I’m worrying about things like that..

Well, honestly in the long term, rather than shape, I should hope I can breathe well and that my nose doesn’t have functional problems.

Because I can’t catch two rabbits at once.

I’ll post a review after removal

I’d appreciate replies from people who have experience with removal surgery

Practical help, things like that...

Please don’t leave replies saying, “I’ve never had removal surgery, but I’ve read every single post here” ㅠㅠ

I’m asking just for this post..
