Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I came back after removal

My appointment was at five, but the surgeries before me were delayed, so my surgery started at eight-thirty. I had the septal support, ear cartilage, and silicone completely removed under closed approach sedation. (3 weeks after surgery) I think it took somewhere between 30 minutes and under an hour. Pain ) These days anesthesia is so advanced, and because it was sedation I don’t remember anything, it didn’t hurt, and when I woke up from sleeping, it was over. Right now my mucous membrane hurts a little, but this much doesn’t really count as pain. Feelings ) First of all, after removal I feel relieved for now. I’m afraid of the coming contraction phase and nasal deformity. Nose shape ) When I looked at my nose in the mirror right after surgery... how should I put it, it was a bit scary. Like the nose of a deflated rubber doll... It’s hard to imagine, right.. haha The nose shape was there, but the area where the ear cartilage had been was slightly sunken and felt like soft, kneaded clay. I can’t explain this in words. Anyway, it wasn’t a normal nose shape. But strangely, during the two hours on the way home, my nose swelled up and became a plump, cute nose. In a previous review, I saw someone say that after removal it became plump and cute-looking, and they liked it, but a few days later they had a mental breakdown... I guessed this must be that situation. If I also hadn’t looked right after surgery and had only looked after coming home, I might have gotten my hopes up a lot and later despaired. Anyway, right now there is no bruising, but my nose is swollen and plump. So it looks like a normal nose shape without any sunken areas. The nasal bridge was removed after only 3 weeks, but that space still remains, so it still has height, like it is a bit swollen. It is not slim, and it is still lower than when the silicone was in. The nasal dorsum is dropping the fastest. And the nasal tip went up. This may be because one nostril is packed. But from the side, the nasal tip is higher than my natural nose. From the front, my nostrils are still visible as much as before removal. After surgery, my nostrils were slightly more visible. From the front.. I asked the director whether, after removing the septal cartilage, he could put it back in the original place it was harvested from, and he stayed still without saying anything. So I asked if it was medically impossible, and he said that wasn’t the case. So I asked him to put it back, and maybe he found it bothersome, because he nodded, but I don’t know whether he really put it back in the original place.... I’ll have to save money and get an MRI later. It probably wouldn’t fit the original place anyway after being harvested and trimmed, though. Also, when I asked whether I needed cartilage repositioning after removal, he said that originally, during removal, they put the cartilage back in place, so I didn’t pay a separate cartilage repositioning fee and only paid the removal fee. I asked for a prescription for Rizaben and received 90 pills, and rounded up it was almost 40,000 won. If you have questions, please leave a comment... I don’t know how to do private messages ㅠㅠ I was also suffering so, so much and having a hard time, but people chatted with me and worried about me in the comments like they really knew me, and I’m grateful, so even if my progress isn’t good, I’ll definitely post a review. Let’s pray for each other
